The ‘Sado’ teapot is an interpretation of the Japanese tea ceremony, known as either chado or sado. Its form is based on circles which are aligned centrally in relation to one another in the basic form. This radiates calm and harmony, key elements of the Japanese tea ceremony. The combination of silver and boiled pearwood represent the philosophy of Zen. This unique teapot has a bayonet-fastening. lid and an integral sieve which enables use of loose tea leaves and repeated infusion.
