Why do pictures always have to have right-angle corners? Why do they have to measure 10×15, 8×8, or 30×40? It was just this kind of question we were asking ourselves when we had the idea for wallmade because, as far as we’re concerned, getting rid of the background, the frame, and all the other bits and bobs makes images livelier, more authentic, and gives them the element of surprise.
Our new wallmade pictures come either life?sized or in large format, so they’re almost deceptively realistic. Although they are high?quality products with a stunning optical finish, wallmade pictures are still flat and easily transportable, allowing you to hang and re?hang them anywhere on any wall – wherever you want, whenever you want.
It takes a special kind of finishing to turn a high?quality artistic print or photo into a true wallmade. First, the image is laminated onto a 3mm aluminum composite sheet and then sealed under 2mm of acrylic glass. This gives the image the professional finish of a gallery exhibit; once it has been cut to shape, it’s an exclusive eye?catcher for you to enjoy at home.
