I am contacting about a project that we have launched on Kickstarter, we are raising funds to publish the first comprehensive book about the work of Howard Tangye.
Howard Tangye is the Head of Womenswear design at the prestigious Central Saint Martins college of Arts and Design in London. He has launched the careers of many famous fashion designer: John Galliano, Hussein Chalayan, Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane, Richard Nicoll, and Julie Verhoeven amongst others. The book is about his true passion, drawing.
The 152 page book is a portrait of the intimate relationship between the artist and his sitters. It consists of 52 artworks, photographs by Kasia Bobula, text and essays by Marie McLoughlin, dress historian at the University of Brighton and Abraham Thomas, curator at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. The book’s content is being edited and designed by us, graphic design studio Stinsensqueeze.
By supporting the project on Kickstarter, the backer can get the a signed copy of the book at discounted price as well as signed limited prints and original drawings.
