You’ve got flowers! translates the traditional mailbox into a flower vase where you can receive flowers instead of letters.

By removing any of the silicone caps, an opening is revealed that lets you hang the vase onto your wall, exactly like a mailbox. The removed silicone cap fits perfectly next to the flowers, helping you arrange them as you like. Also, the vase gives you the option to place it on any flat surface inside your home and to create your own arrangements with the three available sizes.

The vase aims to challenge the way people communicate their messages, ideas and feelings in the modern world. Today communication is more often taking place in the online through e-mails or social media and personal letters are less common than in the past. Also, the traditional mailbox has been replaced with the virtual Inbox.

Flowers are still a way of conveying a delicate, personal message. And the mailbox was usually used to receive and collect personal letters. So why not bring these two elements together? Why not revive the mailbox and send or receive flowers instead of e-mails? You’ve got flowers! offers a modern and simple way of communicating a classic and personal message.

Designed by Ruxi Sacalis for Romanian design brand UBIKUBI, the vase is made of ceramic, through the slip-casting method and comes in three sizes and four colour options.

ceramic and silicone rubber

small 256 x 70 x 87 mm
